2012-6=2006. ET was made in 2003 I guess, so you should know that game. It's the best free multiplayer game !!!

thats the version including the last Patch 2.60b so you dont need dling any other patches :P
ok next step is:
Install ET!
Run ET as ADMIN!!!!(if you use vista/Win7)
ok now you have the problem that you not allowed 2 connect any server because you banned on all servers
thats Punkbuster theres a lil trick 2 get it working
Open the "Console" with the ^ over your TAB Key
if the Console is open press Delet Key few times and add a cmd 2 it: /pb_cl_enable
now your et need 2 run, if not try 2 update PB manually....for more infos just ask

btw for a colored name you can use our nickcolor : http://flame-guards.com/page.php?12
first create a Colored name then put it into the ET Config (easy way on the options of ET) yes copy and paste are allowed

http://www.etkey.org/ go there and press get a key to download needed file
after that put that file in your etmain folder (User->AppData->Local->Punkbuster->ET->etmain) you need to make those folders visible

Then u can play
http://et.trackbase.net/serverlist/ here u can find all servers and join them using Xfire,gtlite or some other programs
The server will download files (this can take awhile) and u can play

Most fg-s play on Prime Squadron,Dark Alchemy and Lost Legion servers
