So like I said before, I got my new pc recently and I was getting rid of my old stack of fps games.
One of them is recently played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 'shadow of Chernobyl' (from 2007) from an Ukrainian game studio. The game is settled around Chernobyl in 'the zone' where only mercenaries live. U have to do some assignments in which u can progress to the final. First I thought what a crap. Couldn't get used to the menu and its options. Enemies are very hard to kill, mostly you need head shots. But after a while I really started to like it. You have to give the game a couple of hours or even days. You also realize that the best strategy to attack a group is taking them on one by one. You also get hints in assignments which I first didn't understand. Still the game can be over very sudden, in that way the enemies are not balanced. Graphically it is a game of 2007 but that didn't bother me. The atmosphere and the story line is very good. And there are 6 ends (4 bad, 2 good).
I suppose if u like BioShock, this will not fail either.
The game studio made a prequel and a sequel but unfortunately in the mean time they closed the doors.
